Family, snuggles and love part 2

We're only half way through our visit to Nebraska, but have already gotten the chance to visit with sooo many people that we love. This trip has really been a blessing and I'm thankful to everyone for making it over here to see us.
Aunt Anita showing Rylie that sometimes the simplest things can be absolutely fascinating.
Aunt Jen is working on getting the giggles out of Madison while Andy's crew try to decide what they think of her.
Audrey, you make the cutest babies! Look at those eyes!

Family, snuggles and love

Something about having a baby makes you take a look at your life and realize how much you appreciate and love your family. So, we've been spending our time off getting in as many snuggles, kisses and giggles as possible.
Madison got to meet her cousins this week for the first time. She was a trooper on the 12 hour drive to get there and slept the entire time.
One of the reasons I love working with my dad—afternoon snuggle lunch breaks with the midge.
Daddy and Madison having a very serious conversation.

 Mataya's got such pretty eyes!
Rylie busted in one of her ornery moments :) I knew I would catch her smiling on camera! She'd run the other way every time she saw me with it.

Aunt Jen got her to smile. The first time I got it on camera!

First time for everything

Every day Madison does something new and exciting, at least to us. So, I just want to keep track of them.
She found her tongue a couple of weeks ago. Cutest thing ever.
I added this pic just because it is cute.
On the left, she is getting ready for her first visit to church. She's even got her fancy clothes on :) On the right, nana, one of her favorite people to snuggle with :)
She's started to follow everything around with her eyes. You can tell in the pic above that she just noticed the daddy-papparazi around :)
I think daddy is her favorite. She absolutely lights up when she hears his voice. She's been doing it since the moment she was born.

What are all these things hanging from my pack and play???
About a week ago she decided that she likes pacifiers. Only this specific green one, but it's a start.

In other newness, she slept through the night for the first time two days ago. Thank you lord! She slept from 10:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Way to go girl!

She is for real

I finally got around to ordering her announcements! Now, it will just be another month or two before I get around to addressing them and sending them out. Sorry to those of you who still haven't gotten your thank you card (since I haven't sent half of those out yet either)— We really do appreciate all the wonderful gifts and kind words! I just suck at this kind of stuff. I can't keep a proper address book for the life of me.
