Memorial Day
Today reminds me that I am thankful for my husband, Adam. He has opened my eyes to what it means to be patriotic and to appreciate and honor those that have served our great country and those that have given the ultimate sacrifice. Before I met him, all I knew about the army was that I was sure glad I didn't have to be part of it. In the seven years we've been together, I have watched him lose several friends to the war overseas and have personally attended the funeral of one of those men. I think it was one the saddest yet most dignified experiences of my life. It opened my eyes to what it really costs for us to have the freedom we take for granted every day.
Thank you to all of the brave men and women that made those freedoms possible!

Family, snuggles and love part 2
We're only half way through our visit to Nebraska, but have already gotten the chance to visit with sooo many people that we love. This trip has really been a blessing and I'm thankful to everyone for making it over here to see us.

Aunt Anita showing Rylie that sometimes the simplest things can be absolutely fascinating.
Aunt Jen is working on getting the giggles out of Madison while Andy's crew try to decide what they think of her. Audrey, you make the cutest babies! Look at those eyes!
Eliza and Dan the Man check out Madison's sweet toys.
