Madison turns ONE

I have been OBSESSING over Madison's birthday party for at least the last two months. I found a million amazing ideas on Pinterest and decided that ALL of them needed to happen for the party. Soooo, I made a gajillion little felt and silk flowers for the headband party favors, and another gajillion clip on bowties for the boys. They needed a pretty card to be attached to so... I made those too. And, what girlie party would be complete without tissue paper flowers filling the ceiling, pink cupcakes, pretzels and marshmallows? Thanks to my mom, dad, Adam, Lauren and Marc for being sooooooooooo much help!

All of her besties came to celebrate with her, and I think all in all, the party was a huge success.

Unfortunately all that crazy partying seemed to get the best of her, and we ended up taking her to the emergency room late that night for what we thought was pneumonia, but turned out to be an ear infection, an upper respiratory infection, a 103 fever, and a sore throat. She's been on some heavy antibiotics and has made a speedy recovery. Maybe next year, she should lay off the juice boxes ;)

  1. Seriously, everything turned out adorable. Totally worth the 2 months of stressing! Poor girl getting sick after her party, I am glad she is getting better. That piano is awesome, too. What is it? I have never seen anything like that!

  2. Thanks Emily! It's a Schoenhut Baby Grand. It's just bells on the inside, so it doesn't really sound like a piano, but it super adorable and she loves it.
